Named for the first dog in orbit, the 1st in Space is built around a one-piece alder body, a roasted-maple neck with ziricote fingerboard, and active professionally hand-wound pickups. Three switches per pickup give coil-split and low-end boost, so every combination of sounds is on tap. Aged-brass hardware holds tune perfectly.
