Do you ship to the USA?
Yes, and shipping to the USA is included in the price. Every guitar ships tracked and insured, packed in a rigid, foam-lined box.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship to the USA, Canada, EU, UK, Australia and most other countries. If you are unsure about your destination, message us and we will confirm before you order.
How long does production take?
Most custom Laika guitars are built in 3 to 5 weeks after full payment. International delivery usually takes about 4 weeks depending on destination, customs and carrier conditions. (Full-size K696 models take longer, see the model page.)
Does a Laika fit in airline overhead bins?
Laika travel guitars are about 75 cm (29.5") long and 22 cm (8.7") wide, designed to travel as carry-on and fit most overhead bins. Airline policies vary, so we recommend checking your carrier's carry-on dimensions before flying.
Is it full scale?
Yes. Most Laika guitars use a 25" scale with 22 to 24 frets and standard fret spacing, the body is compact, not the neck. Basses use a 30" scale; the Laika 7 and Boden models are multiscale. Exact scale length is listed on every model page.
What case is included?
Most models ship with a padded gig bag. A hard case is available on request.
Can I customize pickups?
Yes. Every pickup set is professionally hand-wound to order, and you can choose the configuration (H / HS / HH / single-coils) and the specific set. Tell us the sound you want and we will recommend.
Can I order a left-handed model?
Yes, every model can be built left-handed on request. Ask when you order.
Can you build a 7-string, baritone, or bass?
Yes. The Laika 7 is a 7-string multiscale baritone; the Boden 7 is a headless 7-string; and the Laika Bass, Bass 5 and Super Bass 5 cover 4- and 5-string bass.
How do payments work?
Full payment is required to start production. We accept PayPal, Venmo, card via a Stripe invoice, and Ethereum. After payment we confirm your specifications, start the build, and send progress updates.
What happens after I order?
1. Choose a model. 2. Discuss specs with us. 3. Confirm the build and pay. 4. Receive production photos. 5. The guitar is assembled, set up and tested. 6. International shipping with tracking. 7. Support after delivery.
Do you provide production updates?
Yes. We send photos during the build, and our Telegram community shows production in progress, new designs and customer guitars.
What if the guitar needs support after delivery?
Every Laika includes a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, and you can always reach the maker directly on Telegram, WhatsApp or email for setup advice or parts. Returns are accepted only by approved request and only for manufacturing defects; see the full return policy.
Are taxes/import duties included?
Prices are shown in USD. Import duties, VAT or other taxes charged by your country are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the price.
